Parissa is a local manufacturer of hair removal products sold worldwide. Parissa came to the LiFT Studios team looking for us to work with their designer to develop a new e-commerce website for them.

    www.parissa.com

High on Parissa's wish list was the integration of many community features, video integration and a clean and seamless checkout.

After some research into options for e-commerce platforms, it became clear that doing the entire site in Drupal and Ubercart was going to be by far the best option.

For this project I acted as developer, leading team members at LiFT, and some outside Drupal experts. The project really gave me a chance to further build my skills with both Drupal and Ubercart, and what resulted was a clean, and easy to use site that has some really impressive functionality.

Parissa was very focused on making the shopping experience as clear, simple and quick as possible for its users. So features like automatic currency detection, translation options and one page checkout were must have items.

Community features like a user forum, company blog, product reviews, and tip submission forms were also a key part of the site's success.

The site also includes some features to help guide users to products. Such as video tutorials and a 'product picker' which guides users to the correct product based on their selection of three sets of options.

Overall this is one of the cleanest and most powerful e-commerce sites you can get. It was a real pleasure to provide a family owned business like Parissa with the tools to further build their business online.
