LiFT Studios broadcasts is the video blog for LiFT and is produced once a week by a different team member. The vlogs ranged in subject from interviews, to tutorials and studio visits and largely focused on the design and technology industry.

Getting a chance to produce a high quality video podcast once every four weeks was an amazing opportunity as well as a huge challenge. Part of the challenge was fitting the concept development, production, editing, rendering and uploading all into our usual work schedule.

Getting the LSB episodes done on time was as much an exercise in time management as much as video production.

Producing these episodes really honed my skills with editing using Final Cut pro, and I also learned invaluable skills for encoding media for delivery into many formats for mobile and web.

Not only were the LSB episodes great learning tools for production and delivery, but they were also a great way to connect with other artists, designers and industry insiders, and each new episode was an opportunity to gain valuable connections to the Vancouver design community.
