the LiFT Studios website was one of the coolest sites I have had a chance to work on, simply because it has such a unique interface.

    www.liftstudios.ca

Early on in the concept development for the site, I pushed hard for the site to utilize a full screen media player

Focusing content primarily on video and images. This led the LiFT team and I to design and develop a site like none other.

The site combines a Flash media player which is connected to both Wordpress and Amazon's S3 (Simple Storage Solution) to provide faster streaming times for video and less cost for hosting large numbers of video files.

The site also combines Flash, Javascript and HTML/CSS in a way which none of us had seen before. Which is why we were all so keen to see if we could really pull this off.

The results were nothing less than a spectacular site, great content, and a testament to LiFT's cutting edge abilities.
