Graffiti Abstract - West One

West One is a legendary graffiti artist hailing from NYC. He has been painting trains and walls since the mid 1980's. West is also very well known for his involvement in the streetwear world, as he is a founder of PNB Nation and is currently directing special projects for Supreme.

Traditional graffiti painting was getting too confining for me, as my life changed, so did my artistic evolution

For a while now West One has been leading the graf push towards abrstraction, and his latest works seem fit to hang as fine art. In his recent interview with Juxtapoz he talked about how as he was growing artistically he found that the traditional styles of graffiti were too confining, and in his words he "felt qualified say fuck it".

His latest big show was in Paris who knows where he will land next.
