bauhaus for the everyday - neubau grotesque

Some of you may have checked my earlier post on ABC about a modern twist on the bauhaus type style. I have been on a bit of bauhaus kick lately and when I stumbled upon this gem I pretty much crapped myself. Neubau Grotesque is exactly what I want out of a typeface, readable, clean and visually interesting.

Designed by Ramiz Guseynov, creator of innovative 21-st century didone family Compass. This font is one of my favorite bauhaus style fonts I have come across. I paritcularly love the closure of the loop on the lowercase g. Another beautiful subtle touch in this typeface is the angled eye in the lower case e.

all around a brilliant display font... and for me... well worth the $60.
